7. Exploring the SITE

8. 5 SENSES: SEE
As I walk out of
KLCC I could
notice the Public
Bank.
Landscape of the
KLCC is really
beautiful,you can't
not notice that.
This Phone­booth
really caught my
eye sight as its
colour contrast
with the
surrounding.
The Chinese
Temple. It's the
only temple on
Ampang road.
As you walk
through Ampang
road you got see
the LRT, literally
over your head.
In the surrounding of
Ampang street, I
couldn't help noticing
and guy repairing
shoe on the street
Outside KLCC you
can see a really
beautiful place to relax
and hangout.

People
chatting while
crossing the
road.
In Ampang Point I
could hear a lot of
kids screaming
and having fun.
As I was exploring
Ampang street, I
couldn't help
noticing this
beautiful family, I
could hear the
parents talking to
her chid.
On the opposite of
Ampang Park, I
could hear a guy
on this skateboard
At the LRT station
I could hear a guy
playing a guitar
and singing
The main traffic
noise is near
KLCC

10. 5 SENSES: FEEL
As I walked through
Ampang street, I
could feel intimating
by the Skyscrapper
As we were exploring,
we went to a Malaysia
Tourism Centre and we
were very lucky that
there was a performace
being held so I felt really
happy to see the people
performing the
Malaysian traditional
dance.
There was a beggar
reading the sacred
muslim book,The
Quran. I felt a
feeling of sadness
Outside KLCC, the
weather was rainy
and I could feel the
rain on my skin.

On the road, I
could smell the
food from the
vendors.
On the street I could
smell the odour of
fumes from vehicles.
In KLCC, I
could smell
perfume along
some cosmetic
shop.
On the street, I
could smell of
cigarette on the
ash tray.

On the street there
are some small
shops, you can get
refreshment and
snacks.
In KLCC, there are
some restaurants
with a great variety
of food.
Near Ampang Park
there are some
restaurants. You
can get traditional
food.
On the street, you can
get some fast food
from the food caravan

Looking for some art /
architecture books.
The feeling of the rain Picking up flowers on the road

EXPERIENCES/FACTORS AT THE SITE
The humidity and temperature on site.
The temperature hover between 31
and 33 °C
The smell and odour of vehicle's
smoke, cigarettes and foods.
I could barely feel the wind on site
because of the buildings.

What is Physical Built
Elements?
Physical built elements refers to
manmade products that are
present all around us such as
buildings, parks, water supply,
street lamps and so on. Street lamp on the
street which make the
street nicer.
Along the road there are
some poster for
advertisements.
On the street you
can notice a fire
hydrant

How you define the characteristic of an area
or a place?
Nature help to define a place.
For Example: Weather and Temperature, Land and Soil, Plant Life, …
The people and cultures in a place also help to define a place.
For Example: Density of population, Transportation, Place of Interest, …
Climate and Weather
The weather of the area is warm
and sunny, along with abundant
rainfall. Temperatures tend to
remain constant. Maximums hover
between 32 and 33 °C
Environment
The environment of Ampang
Street is mostly crowded by
buildings but in certain places
trees and plants could be seen
Transportation
Population
Places of Interest
Ampang region
principally relies on
personal mobility (cars
and motorcycles) for its
transportation.
In this area, the
population rate is quite
high as there are many
offices and places of
interest.
The places of interest in
Ampang Street is quite
scarce, KLCC is the
most famous one and
Ampang Point.
