1. All." Dean and his band "The Pillars" have been working
on the project since last August. Dean has written twenty-
two new songs and fifteen will make the final cut on
"Justice For A11." I had the pleasure of sampling the CD
"Due Time" and Leys' gritty voice is a mix of Spring-
steen, Cocker and Southside Johnny combined with a
Southern rock sound. Dean's company, CVS Produc-
tions and Publishing will produce the album at Dungeon
Recording Studios. Ley speaks highly of his recording
engineer, Fred Freeman. "He is a great engineer and has
been working with me long enough to knows what I
expect and understands my needs in the studio."
Dean is also one charitable man. Thankful for the op-
portunities America has blessed him with, he performs
charity events for groups like Child Abuse Prevention
Awareness, Love Foundation for Children With Special
Needs, Florida Partnership to End Childhood Hunger and
The Wounded Warrior Project. One song on the "Justice
ForAll" album, "Soldiers of the USA" is dedicated to
our Armed Forces. Ley also supports the Wings of Gold
Motorcycle Club. "I love these Buys," says Dean. "They
believe in giving back to the community. They constantly
do events for charities such as the Joe DiMaggio's Chil-
dren's Hospital and Saint Anne's Mission." Dean said he
will do events and venues for the Toy Run organized by
the club anytime he is asked. "It will be my pleasure and
honor to help serve these great causes," adds Dean.
Dean and wife Dorene have been married 25 years.
Dorene is Vice President of CVS Productions and Pub-
lishing and executive producer with Dean. She believes
in Dean's talents and says "Justice For Al1" will work
because "It is all about America's way of living, our lives
here and the feelings of every American citizen who
believes we must fight for a greater America."
Dean will continue this mission statement through his
lyrics and music. The couple is also living the dream
through their real estate partnership, providing the Ameri-
can dream for potential homeowners.
You can see Dean's videos on YouTube at: http://www.
youtube.com/user/alainsalvafi. You can click on the
"Burning Candles" video, which was inspired by the 9/11
events. Ley said he wants to shoot a video at the Ground
Zero site someday. His CD single "Due Time" is out
now and the new single CD "Love is Blind" will be out
shortly.
Dean sums it up this way: "We are always gonna be a
country on a roll as long as we have liberty and justice for
all." Dean and The Pillars are now rehearsing to prepare
for their next concert dates. "Justice forAll," is due to be
released October 3lst.

The Fort Lauderdale Hollywood Dania Beach Anne Castro
International Airport expansionwill come in on time and under
budget. They will not spend a penny over the 791 MILLION dol-
lars that is allocated to the project. The expansion will allow the
airport to have room for larger commercial aircraft. To accomplish
that, the runway will need to be 8000 feet long. As there is only
6000 feet before an aircraft would smash into US 1, either the
highway would need to move, or the runway would have to go
over it. US I was moved in the 80's to accommodate the last air-
port expansion. It took away
the best multiplex drive-in
theater in South Florida. Raise
yow hand ifyou snuck into
the Hiway Airport Drive-in
in the trunk ofyour buddy's
Camaro. Apparently, there is
no more room to move US 1,
so the airport authorities have
opted for the second approach.
A series oftunnels will carry
cars and trains under the run-
way. That's not exactly true. A
series ofbridges will carry the
runway over perimeter road,
the railroad tracks, south and
northbound US l, and Taylor
Road. But they're not really
bridges, either. Kind of a mix of both, so let's call them Brunnels,
because Tudges sounds ridiculous. Anyway, the whole point of
this prediction is that the project will come in on time and under
budget. I'm going out on a limb with this one.
And my final prediction for 2014 is that it will be a prosperous,
peaceflrl, andhealthy new year. The economywill finally spring
backto its former glory. Jobs will rehrm, wars will en4 cures will be
discovered. Common decency will retum to the public discourse, and
newspapers will make a comeback.
kt's face it, 13 is an unlucky number. Did anyone expect 2013 to be
a good year? But 14, now there's a number f,ill of luck. Seven times
two! Lucky doubled. I'm already buying lottery tickets for January.
