2. Problem & Opportunity
iPhone users and Android users cannot share photos
and videos via text message.
Photos and videos are resampled and pixelated to
reduce size for transfer
3. Value Proposition
SquadShare is a cloud-sharing app that stores
raw images and videos for sharing between
friends, no matter what device they’re using -
Android or iPhone
4. Underlying Magic
device agnostic - it’s like Dropbox but fast and simple, focused
on images and videos
no shared links, no bluetooth, no exchanging numbers - we use
proximity and discovery to share media in a secure way
2019
Jill: Great shot! Can you send me that photo?
Jack: Sure, put your number in my phone.
2020
Jill: Great shot! Can you send me that photo?
Jack: Yeah, it’s already on SquadShare
What’s the secret sauce?
5. Business Model
• users print photos that arrive within 48hrs via mail
• event promotion and discovery to SquadShare users
• stock photo commissions
How do we make money?
6. Go-To-Market Plan
• Instagram ads after big events
• utilize connections with influencers
• we’re hiring local photographers to attend events and share
their photos through SquadShare
How do we reach the customer?
The average SquadShare event is shared with
four friends - that results in rapid organic growth
7. Competitive Analysis
AirDrop - this only works between iPhones but Apple could open up the tech to
work with Android devices
WhatsApp - users can send raw media in a group message but everyone is
required to share their phone numbers and if a user joins a group, all of the
media must be resent to all users for that new user to see the media
Messaging data restrictions removed - carriers and OS’ could agree to allow
raw media to transmit through MMS/SMS
Dropbox, Box, etc - cloud file sharing companies could offer a media sharing
product/solution
