Kenneth H. Gwyn, who leads the firm, has had a thirty year career in successfully leading large organizations,
managing complex programs and sharing his unique knowledge and experience in the classroom and through his
writings. He has amassed an impressive skill set which includes airport management, negotiations, strategic
planning, customer service and organizational development.
Kenneth led the City of Dallas Aviation Department through several challenging periods. As the executive in
charge, Kenneth was praised for; (1) meeting the challenges of managing the airport in a post 9/11 environment
including federalization of the security functions, meeting new federal security mandates and operating in times of
declining revenues; (2) leading a successful master planning process that culminated in an historic consensus
among airport stakeholders; (3) earning the J.D Powers Award for Customer Service and; (4) serving as the lead
negotiator on several major real estate transactions. Kenneth has also represented a major airline on airport
matters and managed a large real estate portfolio at 30 airports, including the company’s large hub operation at
Newark Liberty International Airport.
Kenneth earned the highly coveted “Accredited Airport Executive” (A.A.E.) status from the American Association
of Airport Executives. He also chaired a project panel of the National Academies of Science that conducted
research on airport business diversity programs
As a seasoned airport executive, Kenneth has shared his experiences and knowledge through his writing and in
training workshops. He has been a contributing editor writing on the subjects of airport management, leadership,
strategic planning and customer service to several major industry publications.
In 2008, Kenneth spearheaded an organization wide initiative that focused on customer service, strategic planning
and performance accountability. Through his leadership citizen satisfaction of city services, as measured by the
annual citizen survey, significantly improved.
Kenneth received a Master's degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from
The American University in Washington, D.C.
