gave me an insightinhowthe governmentworkedasa whole, italsoopenedmyeyesastohow the
governmentwieldtheirpowerandasa sovereignnation,how we use ourparliamentary
sovereignty.
In the secondyear,I studiedCriminalLaw andthe Law of the EuropeanUnion.StudyingCriminal law
made me realise hownotonlyho9wthe law isthere to punishpeople, buthow itcan protect
someone frombeingpunishedseverally whohasbeenpushedtosuchan extreme,(insuchcasesof
domesticviolence)thattheybelievetheyhave nootherwayoutthan to commitmurder. The Law of
the EuropeanUniontaught me that the EU doesa lot more than people realise, itmade me realise
that if it were notfor the EU, small businesseswouldstruggle tooperate inthe commonmarket,as
theywouldbe penalisedfinancially.
In the thirdyear,I studiedFamilyLaw;thissubjectI hadwantedto do since startinginthe firstyear.

came to the ChildrenAct1989 and the FamiliesandChildren'sAct2014. As well as,how the voice of
the childisthe lawsmainprioritywhenitcomestofamilies.
