I was destined to teach! I began my

Kindergarten and 1st grades. I have
also taught 7th an 8th grade reading
and language arts. I have served as a
reading specialist, an instructional
coach, and an assistant principal. I
have taught all grade levels and each
year I am reminded why I have
committed the last 17 years of my life
to education.
5. TheTraveler in Me
When I am not teaching and working
to become a better teacher, I am
becoming a better learner. My
husband and I have adopted the
motto: “ExpandYour Mind –
TRAVEL!"We commit to one vacation
per month with the Caribbean being
one of our favorite destinations.We
love to meet new people from various
cultures and to learn the history of
places all over the world. We also
contribute our time and funds to
various organizations.
