Elephant Nature Park
Elephant Nature Park is an endangered animal sanctuary located in the Chiang Mai
province in Northern Thailand. Established in the 1990s, the mission of Elephant Nature
Park is to provide a sanctuary and rescue centre for elephants. To date, Elephant
Nature Park has provided a sanctuary for dozens of elephants who are disabled,
orphaned or blind, many of which have been rescued from the abusive tourism, logging
and street begging industries. The founder of Elephant Nature Park, Mrs. Lek
Saengduean Chailert, is known in Thailand as the “elephant whisperer” and has
received awards for her activism in conservation.

The Orangutan Project
The Orangutan Project is a non-profit registered environmental organization. It aims to
raise funds to support the conservation and protection of orangutans as well as the
preservation and rehabilitation of their forest habitats. They also rescue orphaned
orangutans and provide 24 hour medical assistance to ensure they are healthy to return
to the wild. The Orangutan Project also funds the patrolling, restoring and replanting of
