3. Thank you for choosing a CMB
Community to call home!
Our team is delighted to have you
here, and we're committed to
providing you with an exceptional
experience.
At CMB, we understand that moving to a new city,
state, or even country can sometimes be slightly
overwhelming. In order to help with the transition,
we have put together a guide of some of the best of
what the city has to offer.
Included in this guide are four amazing restaurants, a couple
of fabulous places to get fit and stay fit while having fun
doing it, and two places you can go to have some fun and
enjoy yourself.
A special "Thank You!" to our sponsors, also located in
this guide, who have helped us and continue to help us
make your home as beautiful, functional, and safe as
possible.
WELCOME,
NEW RESIDENTS!

12. TOWNIE TIPS
Football Saturdays are a BIG DEAL in Ann Arbor. If you plan on
attending the game, tailgating, or watching it on TV downtown,
great! If football is not your thing, or you don't like large crowds,
then Football Saturdays would be a great time to explore the
surrounding towns, like Dexter, Ypsilanti, and Saline.
Michigan weather can sometimes be a little moody. LAYER,
LAYER, LAYER your clothing, especially in the spring.
Pedestrians and cyclists have the right of way. Period.
There are over 100 parks and nature reserves in and around the city
(hence the nickname "Tree Town"). Spend some time in nature if you
can.
"Fairy Doors" pop up all around town. See if you can find them all!
Most of all, enjoy your time in Ann Arbor. It's a little city with a big
heart... and a lot of trees.
There is nothing better than Michigan Apple Cider in the fall. Make
sure to check out some of the wonderful orchards and cider mills
located just outside of town, like Wiard's or Dexter Cider Mill.
Watch out for one-way streets. They are numerous, especially
downtown, and it can get confusing if you're not familiar with it.
