Gemma’s Garden A True Story told in May 2007

Once upon a time……. ,[object Object]

And then she knew what she wanted in life – a pony of her own So she started to save her pennies.

13 years later and she had enough to buy Gemma ,[object Object]

And at Christmas, Gemma ,[object Object]

She was very funny ,[object Object]

Then on Mothering Sunday 2003 ,[object Object]

I had been dreading that day ,[object Object],[object Object]

Because I found somewhere to bury her… ,[object Object]

So I decided I would turn the area into somewhere beautiful ,[object Object]

My initial plan to surround the area with wood chippings – didn’t work ,[object Object]

So the diggers came back ,[object Object]

In the Autumn of 2006, I started to rake, ,[object Object]

My friend James, found me a 5” concrete ring ,[object Object]

And when its filled with coloured glass ,[object Object]

Meanwhile - with a little help from nature ,[object Object]

Just ready for a bench ,[object Object]
