1. LORD OF THE FLIES
Lord of the flies is a fascinating tussle about
savagery and survival. It is an extremely gripping
story about the young boys who are stranded on an
island. How do they survive? Who leads them? Why
do they turn into savage animals who feed on each
other’s blood? These are some questions that might
be making you curious. The book is the key to all
these answers.
The courage, grit and determination shown by the
young minds to survive against all odds, left me
awe-struck. The hunger for survival gave strength to
the children to think in a way no other kids could
even imagine of.
The only thing that disappointed me in this book
was the abrupt ending that the book has. Ralph
bumping into a naval officer out of nowhere didn’t go
well for me. I would have liked the author to have
shown the kids doing something constructive on
their own to fight out of this adversity.
2. This book is for people that like adversities,
suspense and action. Some people wouldn’t like
bloodshed and slaughtering of innocent animals and
people throughout the book. Others would
appreciate the large hearted efforts of small kids and
their motivation to fight through any situation. This
intriguing book has twists and turns throughout
whether it was the situation of the plane crash, the
beast or the vengeance full relationship between
Jack and Ralph.
I would give it a 4/5 rating and would strongly
recommend people to read this book to learn a few
skills from extraordinary brave heart characters of
William Golding.
