Lawyers work to ensure that all people, companies, and the government follow laws and regulations. They study laws in order to prevent their clients from being harmed physically, morally, or financially. Lawyers have many responsibilities including writing legal documents, representing clients in trials, advising on legal rights and obligations, and handling lawsuits. There are many fields of law one can work in as a lawyer such as environmental, criminal, labor, and intellectual property law.

transgression, and make things right? Then you can become a lawyer.
Lawyers (also known as attorneys) work to make everybody – people, companies, and the
government – abide by laws, rules and regulations. In order to do this, lawyers study laws
and use these laws to prevent their clients from being harmed in any way – physically,
morally or financially.

transgressão, e fazer as coisas direito? Então, você pode se tornar um advogado.
Advogados trabalha para que todos - pessoas, empresas e governo – respeite as leis,
normas e regulamentos. A fim de fazer isso, os advogados deve estudar as leis e usar
essas leis para impedir que seus clientes sejam prejudicados de alguma forma - física,
moral ou financeiramente.

trials, advise them about their legal rights and obligations, and lead civil and criminal
lawsuits. They also settle labor disputes, instruct corporate clients during business
transactions, litigate divorces, prepare wills and business contracts, among many other
responsabilities.
There are many law fields to choose from when you become a lawyer, including
environmental, international, criminal, labor, family, intellectual property and information
technology.
• Esses profissionais escrevem documentos legais, representam seus clientes em
processos criminais e civis, aconselhá-los sobre os seus direitos e obrigações legais, e
levar ações civis e criminais. Eles também resolver disputas trabalhistas, instrui clientes
durante as transações comerciais, legitima divórcios, preparar vontades e contratos
comerciais, entre muitas outras responsabilidades.
Existem campos da lei muitos a escolher a partir de quando você se tornar um
advogado, inclusive ambientais, internacional, trabalho criminal, família, propriedade
intelectual e tecnologia da informação.

4. • Lawyers can work in corporations, law firms, insurance companies, banks, non-profit
organizations, or they can be self-employed and have their own offices. They can also work
for the government as judges, public defenders, prosecutors, magistrates, and so on.
Law school is five-years long and apprenticeship is mandatory. After graduating from
college, you must pass the written examination of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB),
otherwise you won’t be allowed to legally practice law.

seguros, bancos, organizações sem fins lucrativos, ou eles podem ser independentes e tê
seus próprios escritórios. Eles também podem trabalhar para o governo como juízes,
defensores públicos, promotores,e assim por diante.
A faculdade de Direito é de cinco anos e de aprendizagem é obrigatória. Depois de se
formar na faculdade, você deve passar no exame escrito do Advogados do Brasil (OAB),
caso contrário não será permitido legalmente exercer a advocacia.
