1. SCENE 1 – LENGTH – 3M:25S
Characters in scene Boss, Ocelot and Kazuhira
SOUND: intro music
SOUND: Boss walks through the hallways heavily heading toward room
101, door opens and he steps in to find ocelot
Ocelot – Boss? What’re you doing here?
Boss– You know why, I want answers.
Ocelot – What answers Boss? What’s going on?
Boss – Stop calling me that! We both know what’s going on here, Who am I?!
Ocelot – I see…so… He has gotten in contact with you?
Boss – Who is He?
Ocelot – He is Big Boss…or was until we had to change his name to Ishmael.
Boss – Who am I?
Ocelot – In short, you were Big boss’s best friend along with Kaz, you were
chosen because of your loyalty to him. Now you are him.
Boss – But he’s my friend he wouldn’t just leave me like this!
Ocelot – You saved his life on that helicopter 9 years ago, he thought that was
proof enough that you were suitable for this exact purpose.
Boss – But I didn’t ask for this!
Ocelot – You didn’t have to…
SOUND: Ocelot begins pacing the room
Boss - What do you mean?
Ocelot – Boss knew you would be perfect to hold his legend, your loyalty to him
proved that.
Boss – I know… but that still doesn’t give him the right to take it all away!
Ocelot – Maybe not, but do you really think he wouldn’t of done this unless he
had to?

2. Boss – Regardless, he took my life.
SOUND: Ocelot stops pacing
Ocelot – No! He saved it, because of him you both got out of that hospital alive,
don’t think that you’ve been punished, you are the face of a hero, a legend and a
soldier and you have acted like one so far…
Boss – so you’re telling me have to live the rest of my life as the Boss?
Ocelot – Yes, the Boss needs you to continue this way. You are his phantom.
Boss – What am I supposed to do?
Ocelot – Well, for all intents and purposes you are Big Boss.
Boss – But how do I continue knowing who I am?
Ocelot – Well…Continue on the way you were, up until now you were a perfect
boss.
Boss – So that’s it? This is done?
Ocelot – I don’t know Boss, Is it?
(Kazuhira enters the room on his crutch and stands beside boss)
Kaz – What’s going on in here?!
Boss – Why didn’t you tell me? If this was meant to be cover then why didn’t you
tell me as my best friend?
Kaz – What do you mean? Cover?
Ocelot – Boss, Kaz didn’t know either, we thought it would comprise the
integrity
of Ishmaels mission.
Kaz – What are you talking about?!
Boss – I’m not the real Big boss.
Kaz – What?!
Ocelot – Kaz, This boss isn’t the real Boss, the real Boss has been gone since the
day they left the hospital. He knew Cipher would be after him, he had to
disappear.

2:00 – 2:30

3. Kaz – Why didn’t you tell me?!
Ocelot – Because of this, we knew you’d disagree with what the Boss wanted.
Kaz – But I am his best friend! I’m his second I’m his second in command!
Ocelot – It doesn’t matter, we knew exactly how you’d respond, it would have
put his life at risk if you had reacted like this before.
Kaz – How dare he keep this from me! (Kaz would hit the wall with his crutch)
Boss – He kept it from me too..Kaz…
Kaz – I was his best friend!
Ocelot – which is exactly why you would have been an issue…
Kaz – Don’t you dare, Ocelot, you don’t understand!
Ocelot – But I do.. the boss needed this…
Kaz – I don’t need to listen to this!
SOUND: Kaz exits
Boss – I understand how he feels Ocelot, this is a big lie for him to keep from the
ones directly involved.
Ocelot – But a necessary one..
Boss – that doesn’t change the severity of what’s been set in motion.
Ocelot – And Boss knows that, he knew what this would mean.
Boss – I appreciate this, even though you knew you still took my side.
Ocelot – of course I did! You’re boss, you may not be the real Boss but you’re
him,
therefore I’m loyal to you. Regardless you’ve been a good soldier; Boss would be
proud.
Boss – I understand... Thank you Ocelot, tell the troops.
Ocelot - Are you sure they can be trusted with this?
Boss – Yes… I’m confident they are loyal; we’ve given them purpose.
Ocelot – I’ll look into it boss, we have to make sure that there aren’t any spies
like Kaz suspects.

SOUND: Boss walks out of room 101
SCENE 2 – LENGTH – 1:75
Characters in scene Ocelot and Kazuhira
SOUND: after a few minutes’ ocelot meets Kaz in an enclosed room close to
the command centre, footsteps are heard as he enters
Kaz – I’m glad you agreed to this... Ocelot.
Ocelot – I’m guessing it wouldn’t be a stretch to say that the Boss doesn’t know
about this meeting?
Kaz – That man is not the boss! The real boss has abandoned us!
Ocelot – No, Kaz, He is in hiding.
Kaz – well think what you want, you can’t understand!
Ocelot – What did you want this meeting for?
Kaz – where is the real boss?
Ocelot – I can’t tell you.
Kaz – Why not?!
Ocelot – Because I don’t know Kaz... Do you really think the boss would
compromise his position, everything he did this for, just to keep me in the loop?
All I know is that he is in hiding.
Kaz – Don’t you have any idea? Any clue? Did he mention a name or a place?
Ocelot – The boss knew that everybody could be a mole from Cipher, all he
asked from me was to supply him with transport and a new identity and that
is what I did. Even I could of been a spy Kaz,
Kaz – But he gave his identity to him? With him? I was closer to him!

5. Ocelot – After “V” threw himself in front of the blast, boss new he would give his
life for him, that’s why “V” was chosen to take the identity, besides you were all
friends, that means something, don’t take it to heart Kaz.
