Editor's Notes
Talking points:
Our mission: to build a sustainable environment through education.
Long tradition of EE in Kentucky – originally launched/sustained by university teacher training programs and classroom educators, now much more diverse as public becomes more concerned/aware of disconnect with natural world.
Non-advocacy: Although we’ll strongly promote the growth of our field and increased environmental literacy throughout KY, we (and EE) strive to present tools and resources to help learners make educated decisions on environmental topics/issues. We, as an Association, do not represent or take sides on these topics.
KAEE is a network of educators and those who support them; we rely on each other and our funders for the longevity of support for our mission. We accept monthly or one-time donations.
