Torch Club is a small-group leadership and service club for Teens 11-13 years of age. The program is a powerful vehicle through which center
staff can help meet the special needs of younger adolescents at a critical stage in their development. Torch Club members learn to work together
to plan implement activities in the following four Torch Club Focus Areas: 10 Service to Club and Community, 2) Education, 3) Health and Fitness,
and 4) Social Recreation. Our Club is chartered through the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and meets a minimum of two times a month.
Keystone Club is a service and leadership club for 14-18 year old Teens. While leadership development are at the heart of the Keystone
experience, members have a chance to act on their humanitarian ideals under the guidance and support of a dedicated Youth Program staff
member who serves as the advisor for the club. Our Club is chartered through the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and meets a minimum of two
times a month.
Date SMART The Date SMART program is a Boys and Girls Clubs of America program that help Teens to develop respectful and supportive
relationships among peers. Teens will gain the knowledge and skills necessary for establishing fun, safe, and mutually supportive dating
relationships. We will be partnering with Victims Assistance Center to help facilitate classes as subject matter experts. Register by April 5.
Cooking Basics Teens will gain an understanding of proper kitchen safety and sanitation procedures. Register by April 5.
High Adventure Club , Geo-Caching This is a real world outdoor treasure hunting game. Players try to locate hidden containers, called
geocaches, using GPS-enabled devices. Through this program Teens will be given a glimpse into this adventurous world which they can participate
in long after they have completed the program. Register by March 28.
PSAT Assistance, April 27 & 28, 3-6pm, Instruction is available for Teens seeking to improve scores, and looking to gain experience taking the
test. We want to provide a tailored approach to help you study and better prepare. We review different approaches and strategies to difficult
problems making it easier to understand.
Money Matters Teens will learn about setting and achieving personal goals, spending and saving wisely, car buying basics, maximizing your
earning potential, how to be a business owner and more. Learn all of this while having fun with games and team building. Register by March 29.
Career Club The Career Club is an opportunity for Teens to explore personal/career interests, goal setting, job preparation, and learning about
choosing and applying to colleges and paying for college. Hosting a variety of guest speakers the program will cover a wide selection of subject
about workforce preparation. Register by March 28.
