2. Aim of Visit : To get employmentopportunities in the telecommunication sector.
Industrial visit to “HUAWEI” located near Unitech Cyber Park, Gurgaon is organized by “KIIT
COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING” on 27th
October 2015 for ECE & EEE students of 5th
and 7th
semester.

The students with the faculty coordinator arrived the organization at 11:00 am. After making their
entries all the students assembled to attend a seminar based upon telecommunication
advancement in the market by Mrs. Pooja Arya.

In the seminar we were informed about the various terminology related to
telecommunication like ICT, SDN, BYOD, LTE etc. Various telecom sector that deals with the
manufacturing and network services like Ericson, Bharti, Wipro, Airtel, Idea, Vodafone, Reliance
etc.

3. Types of training provided by HUAWEI
1. HIT (HUAWEI Industrial Training) :- This training is for 3rd
year students that is for six weeks. The
topic covered in this training are Cloud Computing, Data Communication, Fundamentals of Transmission,
Core Networking etc.
In their training period 4 weeks are allotted for theory classrooms and 2 weeks for hands on
experiences. The students are made to work over live projects.
2. HCIG (HUAWEI Certified Industrial Graduate Training) :-This training is for final year students that
is of six months.4 months for theory classrooms and 2 months for practical lab and live projects.
After the seminar the students had visited the labs in a group of ten and explore the hardware devices used by the
company for training their students about the above mentioned telecommunication field. There is a prototype used
for small scale communication but those machines are not used in commercial use. All data communication
equipment are organized in order of their application.

Then the trainer of HUAWEI interacted with the students about their experiences and told about the
training procedure and fees structure and certification for the regular students.
The organization is well established and placed number of students in various telecom sector as mentioned.
After the interaction all the students gave their feedback and took some snaps. Thanking speech was delivered
by TPO, Mr. Suresh Kumar Mehta.
