Description: The implementation of IAL system becomes an essential part of Vodafone’s provisioning
transformation program. The main function of the Abstraction Layer is to adapt any commercial order
captured and validated by Siebel into the existing VF middleware fulfillment processes, so that the order
content and intent is completely realized. This function has to be performed while decoupling Siebel
commercial catalogue and order capture operations from current Tuxedo/Tibco fulfillment middleware
services. In this way, Siebel capabilities will be leveraged whilst Tuxedo/Tibco fulfillment interfaces are
kept mostly unmodified.
Responsibilities:
• Interacting with teams to finalize the functionality and requirements.
• Designing the work flow of requirements & handling of events in BE using a tool "Sytem
Architect".
• Development of BE code using TIBCO CEP tools (Business Events, Decision Manager).
• Extensively involved in creating low level design documents.
• Worked with SOAP, HTTP, JDBC activities and General activity pallets using TIBCO BW and
protocols like HTTP, JMS.
• Used EMS server for JMS communication & used SOAP Request Reply Activity to invoke the Web
Service etc.
• Responsible for handling the Auditing and Metrics Submission for the project. Worked on tools
like Quicker and GSA for the same.
• Had been responsible for the development of XSLTS which were sent in every Release and
testing those with the Siebel orders in various environments.
• Used Comanche tool (client tool) for deploying processes in different environments.
• Provided active support to the SIT team from offshore. Especially involved in diagnosing the
errors or defects reported and coordination with the appropriate application development
teams to resolve the issue.
• Performing RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for the issues, came across while development and
testing phases.
