Advanced Studies Reading/Writing
(Name) will score above a %90 on two extended writing pieces determined by the Russell extended writing rubric
(Name) will score 90% or higher on reading constructed responses determined by the Russell RACE writing rubric
Advanced Studies Math/Science
(Name) will score 90% or higher on two math benchmarks
(Name) will score 90% or higher on two science benchmarks
Interest Based Projects
(Name) will complete an independent study in an area of interest and meet all scoring guide expectations based on the Russell GT
Independent Study Rubric
(Name) will submit a writing piece for publication
(Name) create a solution to a real-world problem meeting all scoring guide expectations based on the Russell Problem/Solution
Project Rubric
(Name) will join a club or activity that allows the student to express his or her talents (e.g. – Lego League, National Junior Honors
Society, Robotics, Art Club, MESA, Drama, Forensics, Math Club, etc.). (Name) will score 90% or higher on a self-evaluation rubric
