4. The Bachrach Group Search Process
Our goal is to find the right candidates for our clients’ needs and therefore each search is uniquely tailored to our
client’s requirements.
Our general search process consists of the following six phases:
Phase One
• Meet with the client to understand and define the client need and corporate culture.
• Develop and create position specification.
Phase Two
• Use The Bachrach Group database, external research, and extensive network of relationships to develop a
call list.
• Perform phone and email outreach to source potential candidates.
Phase Three
• Conduct initial phone screen with potential candidate.
• Conduct in-person or video interviews with all attractive candidates.
Phase Four
• Present the top candidates, with an in-depth write up, to the client.
• Consult with the client on each candidate, at which time the client will determine which candidate(s) they
would like to see.
• Work with the client to coordinate and set-up interviews with the selected candidates.
• Check references.
• Conduct in-depth background check.
Phase Five
• Assist in the structuring of the offer and compensation negotiations.
• Assist in the candidate’s resignation and the overall transition planning.
Phase Six
• Continued follow-up with successful candidate and client.

Christopher Papa, Managing Director
Christopher has been recruiting for the real estate industry since 2004 and has been with The Bachrach Group since 2005. His primary
focus is representing clients on acquisitions, asset, and property management searches at mid to senior levels. Of note, Chris has
successfully partnered with clients in creating asset and property management divisions, regional acquisitions platforms, as well as creating
local real estate divisions for foreign investors. Prior to joining the search industry Chris worked within the real estate development and
legal fields. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey, and is an active member of the Urban Land
Institute (ULI). Chris splits his time between NYC and San Francisco.
Alexandra Roth, Senior Director
Alexandra has been recruiting for the real estate industry since 1999 and has been with The Bachrach Group since 2003. Her primary
focus is representing clients on property, asset, and facility management, as well as on accounting searches at all levels. Alexandra holds a
Bachelor of Arts from The University of Albany - SUNY, and is active within numerous real estate and charitable organizations. Alexandra is
based out of the New York City office.
Meghan Domadia, Associate Director
Meghan joined The Bachrach Group in 2006 and supports the Real Estate Division in all of their sourcing and recruiting efforts in NYC and
throughout the country. She has been recruiting since 2003, beginning her career in aerospace technology, administrative, and accounting
support. Meghan currently resides in Manhattan and attended the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, Long Island.
Paul Dunlevy, Associate Director
Paul joined Bachrach Group in 2014 as an Associate Director supporting the Real Estate Division handling client management and candidate
sourcing. Paul has been recruiting since 2011, specializing in Finance and Accounting recruitment. Prior to recruiting, Paul worked in
finance for both Dow Jones and PNC Bank. He attended Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ and is based out of the Manhattan office.
Joy Kahlenberg, Associate Director
Joy has been in the recruitment business for over 7 years, successfully recruiting for the real estate and financial services industries and
notably helping to build and run profitable NYC-based recruiting teams. Her primary focus at The Bachrach Group, is representing clients
and candidates on acquisitions, asset, and property management opportunities at mid to senior levels. Prior to joining the search industry,
Joy worked as a real estate sales professional in Miami Beach, Florida. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida and has
built a well-known network of real estate, REIT, alternative investment, and financial services clients.
Vicky Anderson, Senior Associate
Vicky joined The Bachrach Group in 2013, she comes to us with 14 years of experience in the multifamily housing industry. Vicky started
as a part time leasing agent with Richman Property Services in 1999, one of Nations leading apartment management and development
companies and left as Vice President of lease up operations. She has experience with both conventional and affordable housing. After
Richman Property Services she joined Avesta Homes where she held the title of Vice President of development operations, her main focus
was recruiting and policies and procedures. Vicky left her senior role to solely focus on recruiting with The Bachrach Group. Vicky is based
out of Tampa, FL.
Samantha Secor, Associate
After five years of working in human resources for a large corporation, Samantha jumped head first into recruiting for the real estate industry
and loves it! She has extensive experience in team creation, designing policies & procedures, creating job descriptions and identifying
talent. Samantha is based out of Tampa, FL.
Sara Belon, Associate
Sara joined The Bachrach Group in 2015 as an Associate supporting the Real Estate Division in sourcing, qualifying and placing real
estate professionals nationally. Prior to joining the recruiting industry, she was a Mortgage Loan Originator licensed in New Jersey. She is a
graduate from Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ with a degree in Marketing.
