A NEW ERA IN
EQUINE SPORTS
BROADCASTING
The National Cutting Horse Association has joined with RFD TV, Rural America’s
Most Important Network, to embark on a ground-breaking journey to bring
sophisticated sports programming to the equine world.
NCHA has entered into an agreement with RFD TV and Rural Media to air the most
valuable series of cutting horse competitions in the world . . . the cutting horse
Triple Crown, totaling $10 million in cash and prizes. The first in the series, the $4
Million NCHA World Championship Futurity, will set the tone for not only
broadcasting in the sport of cutting, but will bring forward a level of broadcasting
not seen in western sports. With this, the NCHA Triple Crowns, which includes the
Futurity, the NCHA Super Stakes presented by XTO Energy and the Great American
NCHA Summer Cutting Spectacular, RFD will introduce its vision for a western sports
channel that will serve the western lifestyle industry like no other network.
So, as we say in cutting . . . Get A Grip. Let Loose, and Hang On!

NCHA ON FACEBOOK
Now a common tool for direct marketing,
the NCHA Facebook page is on track to
reach 50,000 fans by December 2013.
NCHA enhances its page by conducting
promotions of key information, holding
contests in conjunction with sponsors
and producing custom pages for events
and sponsors.
Its rate of growth exceeds that of similar disciplines, including NRCHA and NRHA.
Facebook Reach has increased tremendously, averaging more than 75,000
weekly. The reach during the Futurity has exploded.
Facebook 2011 Futurity Reach 7,784
Facebook 2012 Futurity Reach 198,967
NCHA reaches nearly 28,000 in the United States and thousands more in
countries like Australia, Mexico, Canada, Italy, Brazil, Germany, France,
Venezuela and many more.
NCHA Facebook is dominated by the female audience at a ratio of 65% to
33 percent with a much younger demographic of 25-45 year olds,
providing a ripe audience for future fans and ownership.
NCHA also compares strongly with other equine sport groups associated with the
luxury lifestyle, such as the United States Polo Association, United States Hunter
Jumper Association and the Thoroughbred Racing Association.
