8. Gerunds as Subjects

9. Gerunds after Verbs
Definition: Gerunds can follow certain verbs.
Example: "I enjoy swimming."
Explanation: The verb "enjoy" is followed by the
gerund "swimming."

10. Gerunds after Prepositions
Definition: Gerunds often follow prepositions.
Example: "She is good at dancing."
Explanation: The preposition "at" is followed by the gerund
