Born in a multinational family in the USSR I have dual nationality (Russian, Swedish),
since 1989 have lived in Sweden and Spain (was back to St Petersburg, Russia for
postgraduate studies and the final stage of the Doctors degree (2000). Taking the dreams
seriously have recently moved from Spain to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
I am a journalist and a professional teacher with a wide range of teaching experience at
all levels (a school teacher, a university lecturer, a private tutor, a volunteer teacher) and
related activities in many countries (50+) and learning environments.
In my work I have demonstrated a lively interest in diversity and a focus on many ethnic
and cultural topics and perspectives.
Writing experience.
- Worked as a journalist and a travel writer in Europe, Africa, Americas and Asia.
Aside from writing, this also has involved filming (content for TV programs) and
collecting scientific data; have stayed with some of the original peoples of the
islands of Indonesia, the Maasai (Kenya) and Native Americans (USA). Through
cultural experiences, I feel that I have developed a profound knowledge of the
mentality, customs and traditions of different societies.

Have taught English, German and Esperanto (in schools), languages and journalism (at
universities), English + business etiquette for Russian businessmen and the top
management of the foreign companies operating in the Russian market in St Petersburg.
Volunteer teaching in Africa, Russia, Sri Lanka (environmental work, cultural exchange,
education), Russian to foreigners (Europe).
Own business experience.
Was the founder and managing director of the company Concierge Lux, a lifestyle
management service, in Marbella, Spain, operating in 2008 - 2014 and providing a wide
range of services for VIP-clients, including education and tutoring in 5 international
colleges located in Marbella and Sotogrande, family support, events organizing, travel
logistics, etc.

Education
Education obtained in Russia: “Full package” - Primary and High School, University
(Master’s degree in language education), Postgraduate (Doctoral degree). The thesis
"Constructed languages (Esperanto) as a means of intercultural communication" (St
Petersburg, Russia, 2000) is the only Russian-language thesis combining a study of the
international auxiliary language and applied cultural studies.
Additional education obtained here and there – in Folk University, Sweden and
University of Malaga, Spain, short-term study in Cuba and in Latvia (languages and
literature, have certificates); authentic cookery courses and cooking classes in diverse
world cuisines around the globe.
Personal characteristics and interests:
Reliable, responsible and well-balanced. Confident, with good communicative skills and
sense of humor. Sociable and open-minded. Have good old-fashioned common sense
(sometimes too much). Strong organizational skills, have been blessed with an inborn
German ability to plan and organize, to solve problems efficiently, with diplomacy and
grace (most of the time)). A perfectionist, but not ambitious or greedy for honors. Have
a curious mind, can find beauty in the ordinary and be fascinated by everything that
surrounds me.

3. My interests include, but not limited to: wild life (nature, animals, not parties)) culture,
travel, gastronomy, reading books (weird hobby nowadays), meeting people I genuinely
find interesting. The best sport in dancing.
