Operations Manager 2014-Present
Managed emergency response operations for 7 EOD companies on 4 military installations
covering an 11 state area of responsibility.
Implemented best practices for reporting requirements and accountability for over 10,000 man-
hours of EOD operations.
Provided resources and support for the first organization to assume responsibility for the Terminal
High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) missile system emergency response.
Operations Chief 2013-2014
Coordinated efforts in support of Joint Task Force Civil Support executing Defense Chemical,
Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Response Force (DCRF).
Validated the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and High yield explosives (CBRNE)
coordination cell in support of military forces in North America.
Spearheaded capabilities exercises for visiting senior officials, dignitaries, and new members of
the command. Coordinated multiple organizations in multiple states to execute the exercises.
Response Coordinator 2012-2013
Supervised 12 EOD teams providing emergency response support to 6 states, safely executing
over 3,000 man-hours of EOD operations.
Deployed 4 EOD teams in Recovered Chemical Warfare Materiel (RCWM) response and support
to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and other supported agencies in 4 states.
Delivered EOD subject matter expertise to nine Materiel Assessment Review Boards (MARB)
supporting the Chemical Materials Agency (CMA). Served as a voting member reviewing over 30
pieces of suspected RCWM.
2. Senior Technician 2011-2012
Directed theater level special programs, developed and implemented enduring counter-
insurgency programs. Expanded capability and capacity growing effort from 2 to 7 people.
Managed the Afghanistan theater level foreign ordnance holding and exploitation area,
catalogued and maintained thousands of foreign ordnance items and munitions. Coordinated
holdings with Naval EOD Technology Division and National Ground Intelligence Center.
Analyzed trends and Improvised Explosive Device (IED) tactics support Counter-IED efforts as
the senior technical intelligence analyst.
First Line Supervisor 2006-2012
Supervised five EOD teams executing over 400 combat missions during a 15 month deployment
in Iraq.
Managed the Army Logistic Operations Center; providing support to 9 EOD teams in 5 separate
areas of operation.
Led 57 combat missions, 166 homeland defense response missions, and 40 very important
person protection missions while maintaining operational management of the organization.
Section Chief 2005-2006
Supervised 2 EOD teams executing over 120 response missions in Kuwait and Qatar.
Directed the disposal of over 600,000 pounds of surplus ammunition managing Army, Air Force,
and Navy EOD technicians over 5 months of range operations.
Led efforts to increase EOD capability in Qatar during preparation for the 2006 Asian Games.
Instructor-Writer 2002-2005
Mentored over 2000 students through Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal
(NAVSCOLEOD).
Designated course curriculum model manager (C2M2) while serving as the Test and Evaluation
Division manager.
Certified as Navy Master Training Specialist (MTS) while leading complete course revisions for all
courses at NAVSCOLEOD. Served as command MTS coordinator.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Successfully completed Explosive Ordnance Disposal training to include NAVSCOLEOD, the
Basic and Advanced Noncommissioned Officer courses, and Advanced Improvised Explosive
Device Defeat course.
Graduated Navy Basic Instructor Course, and Navy Curriculum Developer Course.
Certified in Defense Support of Civil Authorities, and the Federal Emergency Management
Agency Incident Command System, the National Incident Management System (NIMS), and the
