Work with the Digital Communications and Web Development Teams at Pyxl, assisting
to accelerate the use of advanced business intelligence and marketing insights within
client reporting tools.
Analytics Intern: PYA Analytics May 2015 – January 2016
PYA Analytics (PYAA) is an analytical consulting and software development firm focused
on using advanced analytical processes and solutions to derive value from large and
disparate data. Duties performed include: analyzing survey results data, creating
business intelligence solutions and reporting tools to communicate the results of
complex analysis in a user-friendly format; serving as a front-end tester for a major
software development project, creating solutions to identified issues and failures;
working in SQL to assist coworkers in a minor data visualization project.
Business Development: Condition Based Analytics May 2015 – January 2016
Served as a business development liaison for Condition Based Analytics (CBA), a
company formed as a result of a joint venture between PYAA and a client. CBA focuses
on improving data quality within the automotive manufacturing setting. Duties
performed include:
Worked closely with the CEO and two Vice Presidents on a daily basis to identify
opportunities for business expansion and growth;
Performed multiple market assessments related to growth opportunities and
reporting findings to senior executives to assist in prioritization of market
strategies;
Assisted with the creation and layout of content for the company’s website;
Represented the company in the “autoXLR8R” accelerator program. This
program focuses on automotive technology start-ups by providing resources

project with one of the largest vehicle manufacturers in the world.
Visual Media Producer: Central Baptist Church, Fountain CityJune 2012 - Present
Assist with the visual production and presentation of content for church services at
Central Baptist Church of Fountain City. Work with graphic designs, videos, pictures,
and slideshows, utilizing event-specific software to deliver presentations for the weekly
services. Also represent the college and young adult age group on the worship service

Operations Intern: Ferguson Enterprises August 2014 – May 2015
Assisted the East Tennessee Operations Manager at Ferguson Enterprises with daily
operations. Worked with inventory-specific software and Excel to perform various
analysis and produce regular reports in support of the operations team. Aided in the
organization, modification, and presentation of items in the retail store to ensure
customers experience a satisfying retail experience. Also performed various ad hoc
duties in support of the East Tennessee General Manager of Ferguson Enterprises.
