3. Rose City Transportation, Inc. opened for business as a motor carrier property broker in May of 1992. Initially,
our primary function was to facilitate inbound transportation for Pacific Coast Fruit Co. in Portland, Oregon.
Pacific Coast Fruit is an independently owned and operated wholesale produce distributor serving the Pacific
Northwest.

Pacific Coast Fruit Company is a Portland based, family
owned produce distributor that has proudly served Pacific
Northwest retail, wholesale, and food service customers
since 1977. They are one of the largest independent produce
distributors in the Northwest with distribution warehouses in both Portland, Oregon
and Kent, Washington. Pacific Coast Fruit Company has never forgotten their
roots and continues to support the local growers who make the Pacific Northwest
an exciting region for fruit and vegetable cultivation.

Rose City Transportation has developed a
framework to screen, and monitor, the motor
carriers with whom we contract. All carrier
entities performing work for our customers
must meet specific criteria before being
dispatched. Through a variety of measures
all active carriers are monitored to make sure
our company requirements are continually
being met.
TERMS TO CARRIER
“Cash Flow” is an extremely important aspect
of the transportation business and Rose City
Transportation understands this fact. Pride is
taken to accurately process all carrier invoices
quickly – so remittances can be prepared
according to the following schedule… Standard
Pay is Seven-Business Days. Additionally, for a
fee, we do offer 48 hour Quick Pay
