2. Three students undertake a history
project, in one of their local
landmarks that then takes a horrible
turn for the worse.
LOGLINE
3. 3 Students get together to complete a history assignment,
they go to a local historic site with a camera, to parts of them
talking. Mid way through the day one goes to take photos of
the scenery whilst the other 2 record the next section. Whilst
they're recording, an unusual earthquake occurs. Throughout
the chaos the two try and find Joe and when they eventually
do, they find him in a shocked state, stood still and
unresponsive. As they try and get his attention they spin him
around to find his eyes rolled into the back of his head and
blood tears.
OVERALL PITCH
4. If we had an unlimited budget and the availability of actors:
We would choose only British actors. This is due to being a British
independent and the location of the film is set.
Due to the lack of screen time, the history teacher would most likely be a
less well known actor. Though due to the unlimited budget it would be
someone like Ewan McGregor or James McAvoy.
The teenagers would consist of Isaac Hempstead Wright, Thomas Brodie -
Sangster and Lily Cole.
Going back to reality:
We will use a genuine teacher (Most likely Mr Wilkinson or Mr Bird) do
portray the male teacher stereotype of history.
The three students would use two of us, Joseph and Millie. Plus a second
male student, though this is yet to be confirmed (due to date when we
produce the film) it will be Aiden Priestly.

5. The Blair Witch Project (1999):
Made only with 60000 USD the creators retired
straight after the films release as it made them
248.6 million USD. It used a concept of found
footage where the characters went out
recorded their experience and disappeared.
Then the camera was found and played back to
the audience.
Paranormal Activity (2009):
Paranormal Activity is a great show of how well
cheap films can be made. Using only
11000USD it made 193.4 million USD and had
5 follow ups. It shows us how creativity can be
the star, not the wallet.
The Conjuring (2013) :
Conjuring unlike the other 2 was more
expensive, costing 20 million USD, but had a
return of 318 million USD.

6. Our genre would have to be a paranormal horror. This is due to
the use of ghosts and possession in the plot.

7. Film festivals would be a good place to start. This is due to
the fact that many major distributes look at these and decide
whether or not they want to distribute the film.
Otherwise small art cinemas, such as the Quad cinema in
central Derby.
