Welcome to the sixth issue of the “Southern Gateway Magazine”. As we
venture towards a better tomorrow, we thank all our counterparts who have
supported us during the past issues including this one and look forward to

ya uvuvi haramu katika kurudisha maendeleo, uvuvi endelevu, uharibifu wa sakafu ya bahari, bila kusahau
athari zake katika sekta ya utalii wa Kusini. Ni jukumu letu wote kuwawezesha wenzetu kwa kuonyesha
mfano mzuri na kutoa sababu na kutimiza wajibu wetu wakiraia kwa faida yetu na vizazi vijavyo katika
utunzaji wa mazingira yetu.
Historia ni sehemu ya maisha ya kila mtu. Sio tu shuleni bali inatuwezesha kutatua matatizo na kutambua
utambulisho wetu. Kuna umuhimu wakujua tulipotoka ili kuelewa tulipo na tunapoelekea. Kwa kusema hivi,
tunaangalia simulizi mojawapo ya asili ya jina la Mji mkuu wa mkoa wa Mtwara. Mtwara ni miongoni mwa
