2. What is creativity?
Creativity refers to the invention or origination of any new thing (a product, solution,
artwork, literary work, joke, etc.) that has value. "New" may refer to the individual
creator or the society or domain within which novelty occurs. "Valuable", similarly, may
be defined in a variety of ways.
What ‘creative’ features are used in horror trailers?
Creative features used in a horror trailer can be a variety of things, such as, (characters,
narrative/script, setting, sound, costume, special effects and editing). All these
features must be used in relation to the common conventions of a film trailer (i.e. quick
cuts, sound creating tension). However a variety of these features can be used to create
creativity within a horror trailer. For example, an original soundtrack can make a horror
trailer unique. Also the use of special effects and a creative script can be creative, e.g.
not following all the usual predictable horror trailer/film conventions.
