Experience/Involvement
Agilent Technologies Inc. Wilmington, DE
Project Manager, Product Design Engineer, and Supply Chain Specialist February 2014-Present
Project manager of global joint development effort with external partner to resource high volume consumable
parts for gas chromatography.
 Led co-development of an innovative method to duplicate critical functional attributes of a glass inlet
liner for gas chromatography at a substantially reduced product cost resulting in 0.5 million dollars in
yearly cost savings.
 Managed international supplier and internal resources to develop critical tolerance definitions on the
transferred parts and confirm their functional validity by GC FID testing.
 As a part of a Six Sigma Black Belt project, improvement techniques were utilized to improve product
quality and increase overall product yield to achieve a marked soft cost reduction.
Project and R&D lead on next generation product development from R&D investigation phase to product
launch
 Managed cross-functional product development team that included marketing, finance, R&D, and
supply chain.
 Performed a system wide thermal analysis of furnace profile and materials to create a proprietary
manufacturing process allowing the production of a revolutionary new GC consumable.
 Responsible for IP management, development, and filing. Created a co-development partnership with
outside vendor to leverage their expertise on a component of the design.
Technical and engineering lead in supply chain validation for new product launches.
 Qualified suppliers in emerging market regions (AP) and managed/oversaw initial production ramp
and launch of new product line.
 Gained low cost region sourcing expertise with an emphasis on machined and formed glass
components.
The Pennsylvania State University – Dept. of Mechanical Engineering State College, PA
Research Assistant November 2015 – July 2016
 Developed a transient heat transfer model in ANSYS Workbench 17.1 and coupled it to a
computational fluid dynamics boundary condition to model temperature distribution as a function of
time through a plate undergoing a hot impinging jet.
 Participated on a cross-functional research team as the software and simulation lead to successfully
deliver a functional model to military contractors to further safety research of the F-35 aircraft project.

West Chester, PA 19382 (484)-832-5878
KCF Technologies State College, PA
Design Engineer – New Product Development August 2013-December 2013
(Internship)
 Worked on a new product introduction project at a small startup company to grow their technology and
develop their business market.
 Developed the first version of a proprietary vibration mode predicting code to identify data trends in
vibration acceleration data to attributing them to failure modes in machinery.
 Created personalized customer reports of vibration trends based on accelerometer data that lead to pre-
failure discoveries of damage in their production equipment.
The Pennsylvania State University – Penn State Aerospace Dept. State College, PA
Research Assistant – CAV (Center for Acoustics and Vibrations) Lab April 2013 – December 2013
 Innovated and prototyped a nozzle shroud design that successfully reduced jet noise caused by
turbulent mixing and shock associated vibrations from military aircraft nozzles
 Created and implemented a computational fluid dynamics model to simulate and gather data on
geometries of jet nozzle shroud designs to optimize the geometry and reduce number of prototype
builds.
Agilent Technologies Inc. Wilmington, DE
Procurement Engineer May 2012-August 2012
(Internship)
 Worked directly with Agilent suppliers on process improvement to reduce scrap and increase part
quality.
 Designed, built, and implemented fixtures for measuring sealing ability and fatigue life (thermal and
mechanical) of gas chromatography connection fittings
 Developed and patented ergonomic packaging of consumables.
 Cultivated and utilized Six Sigma/Lean practices to optimize key Agilent supply chains.
