Jonathan Jordan is currently completing his third year at Case Western Reserve
University, majoring in mechanical engineering and aerospace engineering and
minoring in physics. Jonathan is currently working part time as a student assistant
in the school of engineering computer lab. In the previous semester, he was working
as a teaching assistant for PHYS 121, where he graded weekly quizzes and
homework. Prior to the beginning of the fall semester, Jonathan was working for
Bouquet Collections as a mechanical engineering intern. He used his experience and
knowledge in computer aided design (CAD) to help with plant floor design in the
companies warehouse. Jonathan worked part time for the duration of his
sophomore year as an undergraduate research assistant in the Case Western
Reserve University Physics Department. In the summer of 2013, he spent his time
working as an administrative assistant for Third Star Aviation followed by working
as a mechanic’s apprentice on the C-check of a Gulfstream III aircraft.
Outside of the classroom, Jonathan engages in student organizations including the
CWRU Table Tennis Club (Vice President) and the CWRU Chess Club. In addition,
Jonathan is also involved in service activities with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.
His other interests include playing sports, participating in the art community, and
traveling.
