1. Beneficiaries : Selected students caught smoking/ vaping by School Guards, City
Marshall and referred by teachers and advisers.
The symposium will help the student learners to:
1. Generate awareness of and promote the early prevention diseases caused by smoking,
drug addiction and drinking liquor.
2. Educate and enable to reject cigarettes, liquors and drugs.
3. Teach the students appreciate clean and healthy life style.
This is primarily a lecture-based symposium intended for students who were referred/
caught by teachers, school guards and city marshals using vape, illegal drugs and smoking
cigarettes. The symposium will focus on how to quit and harmful effects of vices.
2. The seminar will help the students to:
1. Spread awareness on the growing incidence of adolescent pregnancy in the country
2. Discuss serious social problems on adolescent pregnancy.
3. Increase access to evidence-based and evidence-informed programs to prevent teen
pregnancy.
A 3 hour seminar that will focus on multiple risks associated with teenage pregnancies
and with relevant information on the physical, emotional and psychological
characteristics of adolescents and young people, the situations in which they live and the
problems they faced in order to propose desired solutions.
3. The symposium will help the parents to:
1. Gather and discover the issues that families are experiencing.
2. Able to identify today's issues and seek out solutions and perspectives.
3. Develop the skill to discern between needs and wants.
This program is a 10-module parenting seminar. The program is anchored on the philosophy
that the best students are products of a healthy working family.
