like them to be. Life always gives choices and those who make the
right ones get the benefits only. Unfortunately, we fear the
failure much more than we want the success and it is this
fear that holds back some of the biggest achievements on
this planet. Nobody can even imagine how life would have
been if Churchill had not decided to go after Hitler who
was hell bent on destroying everything that came his way.
He probably would have taken England over as he
already had occupied France. Had the fear held
Churchill back, we probably would have been living
in a world that had no Semite alive and Nazis would
have taken everything over.
In fact for quite some time the British and the French were reluctant and feared if they would try to take
Hitler by the horns it might end up in a shameless defeat and leave everything ruined in both of their
countries. It was this fear, according to several defense analysts, that allowed the Second World War to
cause so much destruction as they believed that had the British and French had shown some strength,
Czechoslovakia and several other small Baltic countries would have never fallen in Hitler’s hands. It was
Russia who finally decided that it was her destiny to take the Hero’s Journey and they decided to take
the bull by the horns.
Charles de Gaulle, the French President during the Second World War, later acknowledged publicly that
had Russians not fought the German forces in every nook and corner of every street of Russia, Moscow
would not have been the only capital to fall to Hitler’s madness. Nearly all the smaller countries had
been either occupied by the Nazi Army or they had gone into agreement with Germany that they would
not oppose or fight the German forces under any circumstances. Finally, Hitler made the mistake of his
life and decided to enter Russia which in the end proved to be the cause of Hitler’s demise.
There is just one message hidden in the outcome of the Second World War and that is: Know yourself! If
Hitler knew his limitations, he would never have entered Russia and got defeated. If Russians did not
realize their strength, Russia and probably all the Europe and West Asia would have fallen to Hitler and if
the British and the French had the decision making power, there would never have been such a long list
of war atrocities. A hero is the one who knows who he is and what he is capable of.
