LEON
Average height and build, goalkeeper, right footed, this inexperienced young keeper had a
shaky debut. His distribution improved in the second half with more accurate kicks and early
throws wide. He also made some decisive moves to sweep behind the defence and caught
cleanly when required. However, two poor attempts to keep out routine shots cost the side
badly when conceding twice. His lack of height was not really tested.
DUDKA Tall and well built, right footed, used at right back rather than his usualmidfield position, this
experienced Polish international is a solid if limited defender. His distribution was variable but
sometimes lacked purpose down the wing. Defensively, he compensated for lack of pace by
marking tightly but was beaten outside on a couple of occasions. He strikes a powerful free
kick but was wayward with two attempts.
COUBILAY
Tall and powerfully built, right footed, centre back, he is a formidable presence at the heart of
the defence. Though capable of bringing the ball out of defence, he takes few risks, preferring
to clear his lines. A tight marker, he pushes tight on his man, imposing himself firmly but
fairly, winning most of his challenges in a no-nonsense fashion. His athleticism ensures that he
is quick across the defensive line and able to track runs comfortably. He totally subdued the
big target man in impressive fashion.
BOLY
Tall and physically imposing, right footed, centre back, his strength and physique intimidate
opponents.
Content to clear his lines, he rarely dwells on the ball. Dominant in the air, he has good
positional sense and athleticism which allow him to cover quickly across the line, making a
high number of blocks and interceptions which forced the opposition wide.
SIDIBE
Medium height and stocky, left footed, left back, he did a good job in shoring up his flank.
Good technique and accurate passing ability allow him to distribute the ball purposefully from
deep, preferring to stay back rather than overlap. Determined in the tackle, he coped well with
a quick opponent, successfully blocking most attempted crosses from his side.
CHAFNI
Medium height and build, left footed, left midfield,, this midfielder made a decent
contribution. Playing a simple but effective pass and move game, he keeps the attacking
momentum going fluently. Some well timed forward runs saw him in position to hit two good
shots on target, counter attacking quickly. Though prepared to work hard to press the ball in
midfield, he was not particularly effective in winning loose balls.
3. NDINGA
Tall and athletic, right footed, holding midfielder, he works hard to cut out supply to the front
men down the middle. Sitting deep in front of the defence, he shows well for the ball and
spreads play wide efficiently with neat passes to feet but longer diagonal balls were less
accurate. Robust in the tackle, his strength and athleticism make him a difficult obstacle to
overcome but he did concede a fair number of free kicks in dangerous areas when second to
the ball.
OLIECH Tall and powerfully built, right footed, forward, this direct striker is difficult to contain in full
flight. Quick and direct, he is at his most dangerous with the ball at his feet, using his strength
and pace to good effect on the counterattack, brushing aside challenges ruthlessly. Only some
last ditch blocks and tackles prevented him scoring, moving across the line intelligently to
elude his marker.
TRAORE Average height and stocky, left footed, used in the hole, this exciting player looks a real
prospect.Blessed with excellent control and technique,he holds off defenders well back to
goal, turning to pick out runners with perceptive through balls, creating several chances for his
team. Extremely quick on the break, he has an exceptionally powerful strike from distance,
confidently dispatching one shot from 30 yards and forcing a couple of other good saves. At
times he was unplayable and opened up the opposition defence at will until an extra holding
midfielder was deployed to cut out the supply.
JEMAA
Tall and well built, left footed, forward, he was wasteful in front of goal. Linking play well, he
uses his physique well to hold off defenders laying the ball off neatly into the path of runners.
Good in the air, he is a threat at set plays, having one header cleared off the line. In front of
goal, his pace and movement saw him break free several times but poor finishing saw him fail
to hit the target from 3 gilt-edged chances.
SAHAR Average height and build, right footed, centre forward, his end product was disappointing. His
first touch and technique are impressive, linking play well at times but lacking the physique to
resist challenges from behind. Good movement and an ability to work an opening for himself
saw him create a number of chances for himself but each time the shot was on target but
lacking enough power to worry the keeper.
