WSDC Mission Statement
Witmer Street Development Corporation is a non-pro-fit organizations. Our goal is to
provide better opportunities and success to all people who are in need of these three
services: Health, Jobs, and Housing. We will provide better opportunities by referring our
clients to the best clinics that fit their needs. We will provide personal counseling and health
classes. Referrals will also be available if clients need to see a specialist. Health equals
success and our clients need good health to get the successful jobs that will lead to their
success. Our jobs department will have monthly job fairs as well as job developers working
with our clients to prepare them to get that job to be successful. We will also focus on
getting our clients ready to hit the job market by providing employment classes ranging
from resume writing to computer hands-on training. We will match the job to their skills
and current situation. With good jobs that lead to independence, our clients can get good
housing. Our housing department will assist our clients in looking for housing that match
their income and situation. Witmer will assist and referral them to others in looking for the
best housing for themselves and their families.
Witmer believes when people have good health, jobs, and housing, lives will change.
Communities will change one at a time.
