The Extend of Voice-mail's Convenience
No. of people
Analysis
• From the survey result (1), many respondents think that voice-mai
l can be applied to Wechat and QQ as well as Renren. Less resp
ondents think it can be applied to Facebook, Whatsapp and Email
. It is because people can record and send voice messages throu
gh the first three applications.
• From the survey result (2), we can see that the main reason why
people prefer a voice message is that it can free hands from typin
g. However, respondents who know nothing about voice-mail pref
er a voice message mainly because they can know the emotion o
f the speaker through voices. Another reason is that voice can co
nvey information more clearly.
• From the survey result (3), among respondents who prefer a voic
e message to a typing one, most of them choose “level 7”. That is
to say, they think that voice-mail is comparatively convenient.
