6. Equipment safety checks
Every 12 months all of the equipment in the
office is checked to ensure it measures up to
our high standards.
Fire extinguishers are serviced annually to
ensure they are in working order. Staff are
reminded about how to use them every six
months as we feel once a year would exclude
new team members.
Office furniture is checked by the safety
officer every year and replaced if it is no
longer considered ergonomic. If you come
across any damaged furniture, please report
it right away.
All electrical items are tested yearly by an
electrical technician. If approved, a sticker is
then placed on the appliance to show the date
it was last tested.
