Movement analysis
Imagine playing sports without being able to move that would be very hard to play.
Moving is what we do every day. Movement is basically a way of life, especially when it comes
to sports. How can you play any sport without movement? If you go back and think about the
time you played sports, how many times did the coaches tell you to keep moving?
For example in football offensive linemen have to be in a three point stance, then after
that they can move latterly as well as forward and backwards. Also the quarterback has to move
and communicate with every player, so movement is a really big deal in football. If all you did
was sit still than nobody would ever score and nobody would enjoy watching football as well as
any sport. Moving in football is very important. Every player in football has to move to get in the
right position.
Movement is the basic fundamental of sports. For example running, jogging, walking,
crawling, swimming, and etc. Everybody moves not just athletes but everybody. People wouldn’t
get anywhere without moving. Nobody realizes how you move even when you are asleep. Do
you ever wake up in the same position you went to sleep in? The answer is no, not very often,
you move in your sleep very often. Also just sitting watching TV in your chair you’re moving.
Even writing this paper I have to move to read it and type it. Moving is a very important as well
as necessary thing. Imagine trying to do anything without movement, technically you wouldn’t
be able to talk if you couldn’t move. Talking involves you moving you mouth and tongue. Of
course you don’t think about how often you move because it’s just natural.
Sports really wouldn’t be sports if you couldn’t move. Everybody in sports has to move
some players might not have to move as much, but everybody has to move the whole time. All
movement is important in sports, even though there’s penalties and fouls and what not in sports.
Those movements are still important even if it does cost your team, but sometimes you have to
make sacrifices. Movements in sports have an impact on how the game goes; it can make it go
good or even bad. Either way movement has an impact on sports or how the game goes no matter
which sport it is. Movement is the stepping stone to being successful in the sports world.
Offensive lineman on any given play can use every part of their body to do their
job. A linemen job is to protect the quarterback and to clear a lane for the running back. Linemen
movements arrange from every part of their body. One of the most important movements
linemen have is their feet. Line men feet have to be able to move forward, backward, and lateral.
The difference in feet for linemen is that they have to pump like machine gun which means short
and chopping steps to him keep his balance so they won’t be knocked over or pushed around.
Linemen cannot take long wide steps because they will lose their balance and be pushed around
and not be able to do their job. Linemen also have to use their legs like weapons not like kicking
or tripping I mean by the quicker their feet and legs move the better off they are on winning the
battle
Football is a game about being mentally and physical tough that is what makes people
tough. The men in the front line need to be really tough to get the job done for the victory. The
offensive lines are the men that have to get the job done in order to win. The offensive line has
several movements that make them successful. Offensive linemen have to use their head, neck,
and shoulders. Linemen also need to use hands and arms to control the line of scrimmage.
Linemen also use their legs and feet to perform actions. The offensive linemen are the blue
collared workers that are important to protect the quarterback and running backs. Offensive
linemen have to use all their movements to be successful.
