3. Self-determination is simply the
freedom of expressing thoughts
regardless its sense. It is one’s ability
to decide personally without any
consent to do something or think in a
certain way. People have rights to act
what’s on their minds without outside
influence or compulsion.
5. SELF-DETERMINATION:
An idea that includes
- people choosing and setting their
own goals
- being involved in making life decisions
- self advocating & working to reach
their goals.
- involves the notions of thinking in the
sense of reflecting, memorizing,
predicting , judging and deciding.
6. SELF-REGULATION:
According to A.S. Neill
- it is the right of a baby to live freely
without outside authority in things psyching &
somatic.
In some research:
- it is the capacity to regulate and restrain
one’s thoughts, emotions, behaviours for the
sake of achieving good ends.

10. Field et al. (1998 ) stated that self-
determination is a combination of skills,
knowledge and beliefs that enable a person to
engage in goal-directed, self-regulated and
autonomous behavior composed of self-
awareness, self-advocacy, choice making, self-
management, decision making, self-efficacy
and goal setting attainment.
