The StrionAir System combines mechani-
cal filtration, electrostatics and ionization
to deliver the highest filtration efficiency
available (ASHRAE 52.2 MERV 16). It
provides an active germicidal mechanism
that has been independent, third-party
tested effective against bio-terror agents
such as anthrax, as well as against airborne
bacteria, molds and other pathogens.
Additionally, the StrionAir System

3. How the StrionAir
System Works
As contaminated air moves into the
StrionAir System, it passes through an
ionization array. A negative voltage applied
to this array generates an energized field
that lends an electrical charge to passing
particles. The SecureSeal™
disposable
filter element is sandwiched between
two electrodes that together create
a continuous electrostatic field across
the media, polarizing the filter’s fibers
and particles.
The combination of these electrical
enhancements, charged and polarized
particles and polarized media, contributes
to the StrionAir System’s outstanding
filtration efficiency and active germicidal
effect.

the Exclusive SecureSeal™
Disposable Filter Element
Only StrionAir offers the innovative
SecureSeal disposable filter element, with
built-in dual seals on all sides that virtually
eliminate air bypass.
The SecureSeal disposable filter element
is constructed with a rigid plastic frame,
providing increased strength and durabil-
ity. Its built in dual knife-edge seals
engage with matched pairs of closed-cell
foam gaskets to minimize air bypass
between filters. Pile-strip seals on the
downstream edge of the filter and the
upstream edge of the filter rack ensure a
tight seal between the filter and rack.
