3. More precious than gold
Throughout history gold have been coveted, and
fought for, used to forge the crowns of kings, rings
for the most sacred pacts , as well as the medals to
reward the best achievers. Gold has retained a high
value in all economies. It signifies power and wealth.
So much that many people have even risked their
lives in order to obtain and own the precious metal.
The Bible tells us that God’s words are more desirable than gold.
Some people found them to have such value that they were willing to
risk their own lives in order to make The Bible accessible in our own
language.
4. Sweeter than honey
Honey is known for its sweet flavor and soft
texture. In many cultures, and even in the
medical field, honey has been considered to
have healing properties.
The word of God is sweet to the souls of the
believer. It can also heal.
5. Nutritious
Unadulterated milk is pure. It has exactly the nutritional
elements that a baby needs. Pediatricians recommend that
during the first six months of life a baby should only be fed
with milk.
In the same way that pure milk provides what is essential
for a baby to grow, The Bible has what is necessary for the
health and growth in the spiritual life of a Christian.
