After retirement from the United States Navy in
2005 he joined PDM Bridge LLC as their
Safety/Rigging Manager. While at PDM he
provided technical rigging, transportation and
safety support for the construction of the largest
known bascule draw span ever built for the
Woodrow Wilson Draw Bridge located in
Washington D.C.
From 2007 to 2014 he served as a Corporate
Risk and Safety Manager for Ameri-Force Inc.
and International Marine and Industrial
Applicators LLC. He provided national safety
support for over 200 customers and loss control
& safety support for 1500 employees in 12
states.
During 2014 to 2015 Jim served as the Safety
Manager for BAE Ship Repair Facilities located in
Jacksonville and Naval Station Mayport
Florida. Responsible for all Safety Management
Systems for 5 docking systems, 1 Launch way
and 1200 employees working within various
Ship New Construction, Conversion and Repair
shops and Commercial and U.S. Naval Vessels
