10. •Inferring the speaker’s tone, mood and
purpose is giving idea on what maybe the
feeling/intention of the speaker in a scenario.
•By doing so, it could help us to find meaning
and help us feel more connected to the
speaker.

11.  Tone is the speaker’s attitude towards the audience,
the subject or the character. You can recognize the
tone by the word choices the speaker’s uttered.
“We had a great time at the party. The clowns
were hilarious and talented.”
