intensive field research on language and social identity within a prominent political party in

country.
• Adapted multiple methods of data collection including participant observation, conversation
analysis, discourse analysis and formal interviews with prominent figures in the party.
• Developed extensive computing and presentation skills creating material presented to a
range of audiences - from university students in seminar to respected professionals in the
field of Anthropology during international conferences.
