Oscar J. Zuniga recommends establishing Jeremy as a permanent full-time employee at MAI based on his strong performance over the past 6 months. Jeremy has proven to be dependable, reliable, quick to learn, and skilled in AutoCAD and 3D CAD. He gets along well with coworkers, takes criticism constructively, and works neatly and promptly. Oscar believes Jeremy deserves a mid-year raise to match his higher level of performance compared to his current pay.

Subject: Jeremy
This is a bit in advance, but unless I’m mistaken as of May 13 Jeremy will have
completed his first 6 months here. I anticipate no problems establishing him as a
permanent full-time person with MAI.
Jeremy has been dependable, reliable, eager, willing to do any work he is assigned,
adaptable, helpful, able to help others by teaching them what he knows about AutoCAD
2000, quick to learn our type of design, follows protocols and office standards, maintains
his workspace very neat and orderly, takes constructive criticism well, and is very stable
in all ways. He is very fast at CAD, but is also getting good at checking his work so that
it doesn’t go out and have to come back to him again with more redlines. He takes time
to learn on his own, and is very adept at 3D CAD and other technical aspects of CAD.
The main thing of importance is that he is prompt and dependable. He is always on time,
and rarely out of the office for any reason. I think that a poll of co-workers would find
that everyone gets along fine with him.
Since he started late in the year, he did not qualify for a bonus at the end of last year. For
the same reasons, he didn’t get a raise at the beginning of this year. I am nominating him
for a raise at mid-year for the reasons cited above, and because he performs at a higher
level than he is being paid.
Thank you
-OJZ.
