What is social
learning?
- is a concept automatically and
instinctively applied by humans
throughout their lives, which they
implement from childhood in order to find
their place in the world and society.
Fundamental beliefs and worldviews, such
as gender roles, religion, political views,
and self-worth, are initially shaped
through social learning. This happens by
observing how those around us react to
different opinions
What is social
learning?
To be socially acceptable
basically implies adjusting to
the environment and people
around you. The purpose of
social learning is to be
recognized and respected by
role models.

Therefore, I agree that the preschool
years are one of the most fertile periods
for social learning since a child is likely
to witness and experience a wide range
of actions that will influence how they
act like adults.

Few people are fully aware of their own
limitations, skills, and flaws. Because
unexpected difficulties might develop, it is
often impossible to emulate another's
actions. This can lead to frustration, and
then resignation.

Mental states are also important in social learning
because people are capable of identifying which
behaviors are socially accepted and which behaviors
are usually criticized.

“It is human nature to want to be accepted by
others, so we automatically observe how others
behave and what the consequences are in order to

concern because of the proliferation of
misinformation and disinformation. As
an educator, it worries me that our
youth are vulnerable to being
misinformed because of this. I think we
should really teach our students to be
media literate.
