Genome browser ideal for comparative microbial genomics
Overview
CLgenomics is a software package created for the purpose of analyzing microbial
genomes. Microbial genomes that are in the EzGenome database can be viewed and
browsed in CLgenomics. These microbe data files are available as *.clg files and can be
found on within the EzGenome database pages.
Requirements
• CLgenomics is a Java based program, therefore a Java Runtime Environment (JRE) from
Sun Microsystems must first be installed
• CLgenomics is a Windows and MAC OS X based application. However, MS Windows is
recommended.
• A 32bit or 64bit OS is required
Installation
CLgenomics was developed by ChunLab, Inc and can be downloaded freely here at
ChunLab’s website. A free license for running the program can also be obtained at the
same site.
