Your Organization’s Name Issues Resolution in Solidarity with
Flint
Your Organization’s Name met on date to determine what
ordinary member citizens could do to help the people of Flint, Michigan
deal with their ongoing water crisis. The members support Flint
Coalition in all their efforts. The meeting was led by name(s) and
title(s). In their meeting, the members issued a resolution of actions
they believe need to be taken in order to ameliorate this crisis. Among
their demands are the immediate replacement of the lead water pipes
and the provision of 2 fifty five gallon water tanks filled with Lake
Huron water per Flint household.
But the members are not stopping with the resolution. They
intend to flood the State/Region Congressional delegation as well as
the White House with letters to their elected representatives, asking
that they give immediate attention to the requests in their resolution.
They’re also arming themselves with information, learning all they can
about the issues in Flint so they can address future problems that
come up – including the environmental hazard posed by the current
solution, the delivery of millions of bottles of water to the area.
