4. Objectives of the
Project
This project implementation aims to promote
awareness on the ongoing battle against the
Covid19 Pandemic—where numerous people
have died without having enough knowledge
on how deadly this would be—and to
encourage the Bolocbolocanons to be
responsible for the safety and security of their
family through “Ikulob ang Naghayang
Operation” in prevention for the fatal Dengue
virus

5. Project Description
Background of the Project
 While it’s true that people are fighting over this pandemic for almost two years already, one could not
deny the fact that there are still people who don’t believe and not afraid on the risk that the virus
will bring to his family and community. The same as well as those areas that are near the river bank
where some families are not having enough knowledge on how to prevent the spread of the long-
known pandemic—the Dengue Fever. This project will be of great help to address the misinformation
and misleading problems among the people in the community.
Justification of the Project
 Based on the list published by the Local DOH office, the Barangay Bolocboloc has already recorded 20
local cases of Covid-19 transmission—where some people especially in the far-flung areas believe in
the myths and hear-says about the pandemic, while the barangay has lost one life due to getting
infected by the Dengue virus due to irresponsible lifestyle and living.

 With the implementation of the project drive, the Bolocbolocanons will be able to get enough
information on how deadly these two pandemics can be. And by that, they would be able to be
responsible in how they act, and how they interact with the people they are surrounded with as
well as the environment that they are dwelling in.
Coverage of the Project
 The project will be implemented in Barangay Bolocboloc, Barili, wherein, project implementers tapped
the Barangay Officials as well as the Barangay Health Workers (BHW) to go hand in hand to achieve a
safer and more secured community.

8. Methodology
The approval and the support of the Barangay Captain will be first
sought. The captain will then inform the BHW’s and other barangay
officials to help facilitate the project to be implemented.
Prior to the day of the implementation, project proponents gather funds
to aid the printing of 50 flyers for the Covid-19 and another 50 flyers for
the Dengue Prevention.
During the conduct of the project in the said barangay, proponents
along with the BHW, tanods, and officials will be leading to every house
to distribute flyers.
They will also visit those areas that are near the riverbanks to implement
the “Ikulob ang Naghayang Operation” to model the neighborhood the
importance of having a safe and sound home for the family members.
