About Me 
 My name is Jeff Zamor 
 I am 25 years old and have 
played hockey my whole 
life 
 Growing up I won 2 NJ ice 
hockey state 
championships 
My girlfriend and I
Last Research Paper 
 My last research paper was the class Functional 
Biomechanics last semester. 
 It was about core stability and how it not only effects 
the upper and lower extremities but daily activities 
as well.
Research Topic 
 If I had to choose a research topic today it would 
involve ice hockey and concussions. 
 The information and research on concussions has 
been increasing greatly over the last couple of years 
so diagnosing concussions has been getting better. 
 Having had several concussions, I would like to know 
the specific type of hit that generally causes 
concussions. Whether it is an open ice hit or a hit along 
the boards that is causing the trauma.
Presentation Experience 
 I have never had to present at a conference or a 
department meeting. 
 However I have had to present different patient case 
studies when I was studying respiratory therapy. 
 The presentations would be in front of doctors, 
respiratory therapists, and other hospital employees.
What I Expect from this 
Course 
 I want to be able to find better sources and be more 
comfortable using my references. 
 Become a better writer
