2. In recent decades American
and Canadian manufacturing
industries have taken a big hit.
Cheaper overseas labor has seen
jobs exported, and much of the
time, we’ve seen the quality of
materials dropping, all under the
excuse of someone increasing
their bottom line profits. We
firmly believe in sourcing all of
our materials domestically; steel
from Minneapolis mills, the best
bearings in the world from South
Carolina, and having it all put
together by our homegrown
skilled professionals. We work with
Original Equipment Manufacturers
in the communities we sell to, and
every sale produces local work
when our beds are installed. We
believe in the quality of North
American craftsmanship, and that
every dollar spent on our product
is a vote. A vote to keep North
American manufacturing alive,
jobs in our communities, and
bread on the table.

3. THE ORIGINAL
PRODUCT
Cargo Bed of Edmonton, Alberta,
Canada was established in 1987
to serve its customers with roll-
out service platforms. These
original and innovative cargo roll-
outs gave instant and improved
access to equipment, tools and
other supplies, and were quickly
adapted in a variety of settings
and applications. Over time, our
products have expanded to fit
light-duty pickups, medium duty
welding trucks and heavy-duty
rig-up oilfield and service trucks.
We’re proud to have all loads and
conditions covered; from desert
heat, to the high arctic.
We’ve proven ourselves as a
rugged, reliable maintenance-
free extendable truck bed and
are proud to have our product
working on a global scale. Our
patented industrial strength truck
roll-outs continue to be tested
under the most severe conditions.
They have more than stood the
test of time with only single digit
warranty claims spanning over
two decades of manufacturing.
This is a testament to our
uncompromising standards
of quality.
Since day one, our industry
knowledge, patented design,
superb craftsmanship and
attention to detail have been
second to none, and have allowed
Cargo Bed products to set a
standard of excellence within the
contracting and service industries.
For every trade – from welding
to oilfield, electrical to plumbing,
surveying to emergency response
– and from independent operators
to commercial fleets, truck bed
roll-outs increase safety,
efficiency and productivity.
27 years ago we
set the industry
standard, and
proudly continue
to do so.

THE TRADESMAN/
WELDER SERIES
Our industrial customers may
have a wide range of applications
for our versatile heavy-duty
Cargo Bed , but regardless of the
industry, they all share a common
need – roll-out truck beds that are
failsafe. At Cargo Bed, we have
accepted the challenge and have
been fabricating heavy-duty
roll-out beds that pass the
toughest industry tests. Whether
you are hauling large welders,
generators or tool boxes from
job site to job site, constructing
storage compartments for 2000
lb industrial parts, or transporting
heavy equipment and supplies
to the oil patch, the rolling Cargo
Bed comes through every time.

12. OUR WARRANTY
We let our product speak for itself:
27 years of business, and we can count
our warranty claims on one hand.
12
You put a lot of trust in your tools,
and equipment. You depend on
them to keep you, and your crew
alive, help you do the job right the
first time, and enable you to keep
your word. That’s not something
that we take lightly. When the
people who use our products are
in some of the harshest conditions
on earth, and with heavier weight
on our beds, there is no margin
of error. We use North American
materials, and we stand behind
our products, for a career’s length
of time. We proudly support a
five year limited warranty on
the structure and two years on
the bearings. (See warranty for
details.) Cargo Beds are built to
take the punishment of a career’s
worth of hard work, but (like the
hardworking people that use our
products) demand a little respect
and care.
We offer an additional 2 year warranty
on the structure when you register your

FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS
15. 15
When I slide-out my loaded Cargo Bed will it rub
against my pickup truck’s tailgate?
If your Cargo Bed is properly installed, sliding it out of your truck bed will
not cause any rubbing against the tailgate.
Are side rails required on a Cargo Bed?
No, the extendable Cargo Bed does not require side rails or other
attachments to achieve its full weight carrying capacity. A light side rail
is available as an attachment for your pickup truck bed to prevent items
from falling in front of the wheel wells.
Is there maintenance required on my sliding
Cargo Bed?
Cargo Bed is generally maintenance free. Occasional cleaning of dirt and
grit in the C channels may be required.
How do I know which is the best sliding bed
device for me?
Give us a call at 1-800-451-1117 to have our trained staff help you
through the selection process or look for our model selector.

business hours. After business hours we encourage you to leave a
message or e-mail us for quick response 24 hours a day and 7 days a
week.
Cargo Bed is only 34” inches wide. Will it fit my
48” pickup truck bed?
Yes. The user-applied deck can be any width from 34” wide to
approximately 52” depending on material used. A typical deck is 4 feet
wide and made from ¾” plywood.
Is there a locking mechanism to prevent
unwanted sliding of my Cargo Bed?
