• Developed concept and event with Best Productions and Michael Bay when I was
in charge of the GM Western Region producing and communicating GM's annual
TEN event where celebrities walked a catwalk alongside some of the hippest cars
from General Motors. Program gained international exposure for General Motors
from auto, business and celebrity press. Worked to elevate the GM brand in the
California market and was a catalyst to GM vehicle inclusion in the Transformers

6. Launch Vehicles and the GM
Performance Division
Served as communications lead for the launch of the GM Performance Division that
included publicizing more than 60 specialty vehicles and 40 concept cars over four
years debuting at both the Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association (SEMA)
event in Las Vegas and numerous Concourse and auto show events inclusive of Pebble
Beach, Amelia Island, Goodwood and the North American Int’l, Chicago, Los Angeles
and New York Auto Shows.

8. • Partnered with editors from Source Interlink Publications in an epic 30
day story called “Tokyo to LA the Hard Way” during the launch of
Suzuki’s new Kizashi sport sedan where editors from Motor Trend, Truck
Trend and Motorcyclist Magazines drove a Kizashi sport sedan, Equator
truck and V-Strom dual sport bike from Suzuki’s production plant in
Hamamatsu, Japan up the “Ring of Fire” through Siberia, across to
Alaska, down the AlCan highway and finishing in LA at Motor Trend’s HQ.
The coverage ran in daily blogs written by each editor detailing their
journey and in each of the print publications.

9. Suzuki Ring of Fire App
• Led the development and communications team to launch the innovative Suzuki
Kizashi Ring of Fire App which debut in the Apple Top 100 downloaded apps. Also
created interest and buzz by promoting to automotive and tech reporters by
distributing iPads to 20 of the top journalists resulting in national coverage
promoting the app and the vehicle.

10. Led the communications team in development of Suzuki’s back-to-back record-setting
efforts at the Pike’s Peak Hill Climb where “Monster” Tajima drove a 1,000 horsepower
Suzuki up the hill breaking the 10 minute record barrier. Publicized the event by
hosting world-renowned journalists to cover the event garnering recognition for the
Suzuki brand in the US and abroad at this historic event.

11. Toyota Dream Build Challenge
• Led the communications and PR efforts for Toyota’s first-ever
“Dream Build Challenge” working with Gardner Communications
and Toyota Racing Development on four dream car builds headed
by Toyota race team members from NASCAR and NHRA generating
coverage and notoriety for Toyota vehicles and TRD.

12. Led the event that launched the world’s largest concentrated solar power facility called Ivanpah
which involved project partner Google and the secretary of energy and incorporated the Sony
Epic Records’ musical act The Fray who debuted their new album “Helios” and filmed the video
for their hit single “Love Don’t Die” at the facility and performed at the event. Generated more
than 2 billion impressions in print and social media helping publicize the facility and the NRG
brand.
